Foster Youth Training Program

Life after foster care

When a child ages out of foster care at age 18, they rarely have the necessary support to effectively transition into adulthood. They don't have the means on their own to further their education or obtain gainful employment.

Bridging the Gap

Collaborating with foster parents, community agencies, advocacy groups, and other necessary voices, we collectively designed a 10-week program that takes a holistic approach to workforce training and life skills training. The program will equip these youth with essential tools for success in the workforce and beyond.
After the program ends, they will be connected to a variety of options to further their education and/or be connected with viable employment. This places them on a continued trajectory toward long-term success and stability.
