Foster Youth Training Program

Life after foster care

When youth age out of foster care, they don’t always have the support and skills to effectively transition into adulthood. In partnership with community organizations and churches, we offer a program that takes a holistic approach to job readiness and life skills training. The youth gain life and job readiness skills, connection to educational and employment opportunities, and a network of people to walk alongside them on their journey.

Bridging the Gap

Collaborating with foster parents, community agencies, advocacy groups, and other necessary voices, we collectively designed a 12-week program that takes a holistic approach to workforce training and life skills training. During the program and upon completion, they will be connected to a variety of options to further their education and/or be connected with viable employment. This places them on a continued trajectory toward long-term success and stability.
